Ursula von der Leyen: Looking forward to  next European Community  summit in Yerevan

ArmInfo.European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen described her conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, held on the sidelines  of the European Community summit in Denmark, as meaningful.

"We congratulated Armenia on the landmark progress with Azerbaijan   in Washington, facilitated by US President Trump. A crucial step  towards peace and stability in the region. We are determined to  deepen our cooperation. Armenia is a key partner for the EU," she  wrote on  X.

Von der Leyen also noted that the Global Gateway project will boost  regional connectivity, spanning trade, transport, energy, and  digital. "Looking forward to the next European Community summit in  Yerevan in the first half of 2026," she noted.
