Armenian NA to discuss draft statement on Establishment of Peace  between Armenia and Azerbaijan

ArmInfo.Taking as a basis the initiative of the deputies of the National Assembly to convene an extraordinary sitting of the National Assembly and the decision of  the NACD-047-L of October 2, 2025, being led by Article 100 of the  Constitution and Article 41 of the Constitutional law The Rules of  Procedure of the National Assembly, by the NA President's decision  immediately after the end of the regular sittings convened on  September 30, 2025 an extraordinary sitting of the National Assembly  will be convened by the deputies' initiative.

The draft statement of the National Assembly on Establishment of  Peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan authored by the NA Civil  Contract Faction is on the agenda.

On August 8, a trilateral meeting between the leaders of the United  States, Armenia, and Azerbaijan took place at the White House. During  this meeting, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, US President  Donald Trump, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a joint  declaration aimed at resolving the conflict between Yerevan and Baku.
