


ArmInfo.The Institute of Oriental Studies of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of Armenia intends to deepen scientific cooperation with regional universities. The NAS of Armenia informed ArmInfo of this.
According to Gohar Iskandaryan, Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the NAS of Armenia, expanding cooperation in this format with regional universities is a strategic step for them.
"This work must be continuous. We already have similar cooperation with Yerevan State University, the Russian-Armenian University (RAU), the Vazgen Sargsyan Military Academy of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, and the National Defense Research University of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia," Iskandaryan added.
Representatives of the regional universities, in turn, expressed gratitude, emphasizing the necessity and importance of cooperation with the institute.
According to the source, this agreement was reached during a meeting with representatives of regional universities held at the Institute of Oriental Studies. Specifically, the event was attended by state universities from Shirak, Gavar, Vanadzor, and Ijevan, as well as representatives of the Kachar Scientific Center.
The goal of the meeting is to promote the development of regional universities, establish new connections, implement joint programs, and organize lectures.
