


ArmInfo. Vincent Dubois, titular organist at the Cathedral of Notre-Dame in Paris, France, will perform in Armenia as part of the V. Stamboltsyan International Organ Music Festival.
According to the press service of the National Chamber Music Center, the French organist's solo concert will take place on October 1 at 7:00 PM at the Komitas Chamber Music House. The festival itself began on September 24. At the opening concert, Armenian organists and guest musicians performed works by Komitas, Nerses Shnorhali, Makar Yekmalyan, Alexander Harutyunyan, Arno Babajanyan, and other prominent composers.
According to the source, the 3rd International Organ Music Festival runs from September to December this year, encompassing not only Yerevan but also other Armenian cities, including Kapan and Charentsavan.
The festival will also feature performances by leading British organist Jonathan Scott, principal organist of the Sagrada Familia Basilica in Barcelona Juan de la Rubia, and the city organist of Rotterdam, Adrian Hoek. The festival is being implemented by the National Chamber Music Center with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport of the Republic of Armenia.
