ArmInfo. The Council of the National Democratic Pole (NDP) has condemned Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statements on the establishment of a "Fourth Republic."
In a statement received by ArmInfo, the party noted that the statements made during the congress of the Civil Contract party are an attempt to start a new page and continue the usurpation of power in Armenia by a group that, during its seven years in power, has unleashed numerous wars and suffered defeats.
"As we have repeatedly stated before, this new page implies a new Armenian people, deprived of the memory, national values, and dignity necessary to preserve the Armenian identity," the NDP explained.
The party also emphasized that a key condition for implementing this monstrous plan is to hold the 2026 elections without the presence of national forces in the Armenian political arena. They also highlighted the NDP's recent lobbying successes in the United States and Europe, the significant increase in funding for their lobbying efforts, and important initiatives aimed at protecting the Republic of Armenia and the Armenian Apostolic Church. These developments have raised concerns for the current collaborationist regime. The party further accused "the regime that has usurped power in Armenia" of attacking NDP supporters.
"These attacks are essentially nothing new: the Pole has been subjected to similar attacks for many years and will continue its struggle. We will soon report on further achievements, both domestically and internationally," the NDP concluded.
