False agenda of the `Fourth Republic` aimed at turning Armenia into  Turkish vilayet - expert 

ArmInfo.Turkey and Azerbaijan are preparing to make Armenia's statehood dependent, and if possible, to completely absorb it, essentially occupying it, as  they did with Artsakh. This opinion was expressed on his Facebook  page by Varuzhan Geghamyan, a candidate of historical sciences and a  Turkologist, regarding Turkey and Azerbaijan's real intentions with  respect to Armenia.

In this regard, the expert noted that neither Azerbaijan nor Turkey  has any serious intentions for peaceful coexistence and  neighborliness with Armenia, and "only they and their minions are  promoting a false peace agenda." "Turkey and Azerbaijan have  exceptional influence over the ruling regime in Armenia." 

"Therefore, the supposed "reforms" being carried out in Armenia,  particularly in education, the military, the change of symbols, and  more, are actually intended to weaken our already vulnerable state  and facilitate the implementation of a plan to occupy our country,"  Geghamyan emphasized.

According to him, the ruling regime has only one interest:  maintaining power, even if it is completely dependent on Turkey.  "Lies, manipulation, and propaganda on a large scale must ensure this  goal is achieved before the elections." "Therefore, the false agenda  of creating a 'Fourth Republic' is not aimed at creating another  Armenia, but at turning it into a vilayet of Turkey," the Turkologist  explained.

Geghamyan noted that, in other words, the idea is not that there will  be an Armenia far removed from national ideals or a cosmopolitan one,  but that there simply will be no Armenian state. In this vein, the  expert emphasized that any discussion on this topic is pointless.

The Turkologist reiterated that Armenia has two obvious  enemies-Turkey and Azerbaijan-which are the main drivers of all the  processes unfolding around the republic. "And any deviation from the  topic of genuinely containing these two enemies is a false agenda."  "False and destructive," the Turkologist emphasized.

At the same time, the expert is confident that even today it is  possible to contain our enemies, and, according to him, Ankara and  Baku are well aware of this. "All we need to do is understand that we  are strong enough," Geghamyan concluded.

As a reminder, earlier, at the 7th Congress of the ruling Civil  Contract Party, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that the  creation of a "Fourth Republic" of Armenia is the ruling party's  immediate strategic goal if re-elected in the 2026 parliamentary  elections. According to him, after receiving the people's votes in  the 2026 elections, the ruling party intends to initiate the process  of adopting a new Constitution of Armenia through a national  referendum. Meanwhile, independent experts are inclined to believe  that this step demonstrates Armenia's readiness to fulfill the latest  demand from Turkey and Azerbaijan.
