


ArmInfo The Armenian Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Sergey Smbatyan, will perform at the 9th Armenia International Music Festival.
The orchestra will perform Pyotr Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1, accompanied by Russian-German pianist Olga Sheps.
The concert will also feature works by the renowned Armenian composer Alexander Arutyunyan.
The event will take place on September 23, at 7:00 PM, at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall.
Olga Sheps is a renowned Russian-German pianist, winner of international competitions, and one of the most prominent figures on the contemporary piano scene. Born in Moscow, she has lived in Germany since childhood. A graduate of the Cologne University of Music, she performs with leading European orchestras, regularly participates in major festivals, and records on the Sony Classical label. Sheps's repertoire encompasses classical composers such as Chopin, Schubert, and Tchaikovsky, as well as lesser-known composers, including contemporary music.
The festival is supported by the Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia.
