RA MFA reacts to Qatar strikes 

ArmInfo.  Armenia is deeply concerned by the targeting of residential areas in Doha, and calls to all the involved parties for restraint to avoid further escalation of regional security situation," the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs  (MFA) stated on its X account. 

Earlier, it became known from the media that on the afternoon of  September 9, Israel struck Hamas targets in Qatar for the first time.  The explosions thundered in Doha, where the political leadership of  the movement is based. It is reported that several hours before the  strike, Israel notified the United States about this. Maps also show  that Israel used Saudi Arabian airspace to strike. On this day, a  plan for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and an exchange of hostages  was to be discussed in Doha. A number of countries condemned the  strike, calling it a flagrant violation of state sovereignty.
