Armenian premier appoints deputy finance minister 

ArmInfo.  Edgar Mkrtchyan has been appointed Deputy Minister of Finance of Armenia.

The decision, as reported by the official website of the government,  was signed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on September 9.

The position of Deputy Minister of Finance has been vacant since the  appointment of Deputy Minister of Finance Eduard Hakobyan, who  oversees macroeconomics, as Chairman of the State Revenue Committee  on November 28, 2024.

Mkrtchyan previously headed the office of Deputy Prime Minister Mher  Grigoryan.
