Switzerland appoints new ambassador to Armenia

ArmInfo.  Switzerland has appointed a new ambassador to Armenia. 

"The Embassy of Switzerland in Armenia is pleased to announce the  arrival of our new Head of Mission, Ambassador-designate Andrea  Baumann!

"She joins us from New York, where she served as Political  Coordinator during Switzerland's first ever mandate on the United  Nations Security Council (2023-24) and has worked on European  affairs, multilateral diplomacy, peace & security and human rights in  her diplomatic career. 

"The Embassy team looks forward to working under her leadership to  build on the excellent Swiss- Armenian relations," the embassy  reports.
