
ArmInfo. The All-Armenian Shooting Competition, organized by the educational public organization "Azatazen", will be held in Yerevan on September 6-7.
According to the organizers, citizens of the Republic of Armenia who have reached the age of 16, as well as foreign citizens of Armenian origin, can participate in the competition.
Participants can participate with weapons that they legally own or with weapons of another person provided to the shooting range in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Armenia. In addition, representatives of state paramilitary organizations defined by the RA Law "On Regulation of Arms Circulation" are allowed to participate with their own attached weapons. The competition will be held at the Yerevan Open Civilian Shooting Range of the SNO "Azatazen".
"Our goal is not only to organize fair and transparent competitions, but also to create a platform where participants can meet, exchange experiences and develop their skills. This event brings together people who love shooting, strive for discipline and self-control, and want to preserve Armenian military and sports traditions. We believe that such competitions not only stimulate healthy competition, but also contribute to the formation of a safe and responsible attitude towards weapons," the organizers of the competition note.
The winner of the competition will receive a Perun AR-15 .223 rifle, the participant who takes second place will receive a Tigr 7.62x54 rifle, and the third place will receive a Saiga 7.62x39 rifle.
Based on the results of each of the three stages, the participant who scores the most points will be awarded a BR2 protection class helmet. The main sponsor of the shooting competition is the Sports and Youth Affairs Department of the Yerevan Municipality.
