Armenia, Azerbaijan to continue cooperation with  SCO countries as  partners

ArmInfo. Armenia and Azerbaijan will continue cooperation with the countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization under the status of "SCO partners".

As reported by the media, India has blocked Azerbaijan's accession to  the Shanghai Cooperation Organization because of Baku's support for  Islamabad's policy in the conflict with New Delhi.

Additionally, it is noted that Pakistan has also blocked Armenia's  accession to the SCO. And this in light of the fact that on August  31, Armenia and Pakistan announced the establishment of diplomatic  relations.

Earlier, Armenia had expressed its interest in joining the SCO.
