ArmInfo. Senor Hasratyan, former representative of the Artsakh Defense Army, has commented on Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's remarks that peace has already been established between Yerevan and Baku.
"Yesterday, the head of the Armenian government announced the beginning of an era of peace, and almost simultaneously with this, the Sultan of Azerbaijan declares: "...We continue to strengthen our military potential... We must clearly understand who we are facing and who our neighbor is..." His Majesty Time will show which of these two is more honest and realistic. However, the historical reality remains that in order to achieve peace, one must also be prepared for war," Hasratyan wrote on his Facebook page.
Note that on August 21, the Armenian Prime Minister stated that peace had been established between Armenia and Azerbaijan since August 8. Moreover, he said that the Armenian authorities do not plan to increase defense spending next year. However, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, during a visit to occupied Karvachar yesterday, stated his intention to continue the militarization of the country. He also rattled his sabre and warned against attacking Azerbaijan.
