U.S. president claims ending 35-year-long conflict between Armenia  and Albania 

ArmInfo. President Donald Trump boasted of ending hostilities between "Aberbaijan" and "Albania" on Tuesday. 

Earlier this month, Trump brokered a peace agreement between  Azerbaijan and Armenia, whose leaders he hosted at the White House  for a summit. 

Trump appeared on Tuesday's edition of The Mark Levin Show, where he  repeated his context-less claim to have ended six or seven global  conflicts in his first seven months in office.

"I've settled six wars, and a lot of people say seven because there's  one that nobody knows about," Trump said cryptically. 

After claiming that the conflict between India and Pakistan was the  "easiest" to resolve, Trump turned his attention to "Aberbaijan" and  "Albania:"

"A lot of amazing, amazing things. You saw the Aberbaijan. That was a  big one going on for 34, 35 years with, uh, Albania. Think of that. I  mean, going on for years, and I got to know the heads, and I got to  know them through trade. I was dealing with them a little bit, and I  said, "Why are you guys fighting?" Then I said, "I'm not gonna do a  trade deal if you guys are gonna fight. It's crazy."

These words of Trump caused a public outcry. Independent experts are  inclined to believe that this once again shows the unreliability of  American guarantees for the Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement of  relations. According to them, Trump does not even remember the name  of Armenia today and it is short-sighted to think that in a couple of  years he will remember Armenia at all and will be especially worried  "about its cloudless future."
