ArmInfo. Former leader of the Armenian national chess team Levon Aronian, currently playing for the USA, won the Blitz tournament in St. Louis.

This was reported by the Chess Federation of Armenia.

The source notes that Aronian was three points ahead of second-place  finisher Fabiano Caruano, also representing the USA. Third place went  to Frenchman Maxime Vachier-Lagrave.

The Grand Chess Tour: Saint Louis Rapid & Blitz 2025 tournament was  held in the USA from August 10 to 15.
