ArmInfo. The specific dates for the opening of the Turkish- Armenian border are unknown, the process of normalizing relations between Ankara and Yerevan is going  on in parallel with the peace process between Baku and Yerevan, a  Turkish diplomatic source told RIA Novosti.

"There are no specific dates on this topic (the opening of the  Turkish-Armenian border - ed.). As was stated by Mr. President (of  Turkey, Tayyip Erdogan - ed.), the process of normalizing relations  between Turkey and Armenia will go on in parallel with the peace  process between Baku and Yerevan. We see positive steps in this  direction, the entire region will benefit from the signing of a peace  agreement between the two countries," the agency's source said.

On August 9, the leaders of the United States, Armenia and Azerbaijan  signed a joint declaration in the White House regarding the peaceful  settlement of the conflict between Yerevan and Baku.
