
ArmInfo. Reconstruction of water supply systems is underway in a number of settlements in the Kotayk, Aragatsotn and Armavir regions. This was reported to ArmInfo by the press service of the Water Committee of Armenia.
In particular, in the settlement of Kasakh, a reconstruction of the main water supply system with a length of about 18.4 km is being carried out, 900 individual water metering units are being installed and about 4.5 km of pipelines are being built. As a result of the project, water savings in this settlement will amount to 30 l/s.
In the village of Proshyan, about 20.6 km of water supply networks, 1200 water metering units and water intake structures with a length of 7.2 km will be built. As a result, uninterrupted water supply to the population will be ensured, and the volume of water savings will amount to 40 l/s. In the village of Sasunik (Ashtarak community), about 7.9 km of water supply networks, 500 nodes and 3.5 km of water intake facilities are being built.
In the village of Aragats (Khoy community), the distribution network is being completely reconstructed. A water supply network with a length of about 12.8 km, 700 nodes and 4.2 km of water intake facilities is being built.
According to the source, in order to get acquainted with the progress of the water supply system reconstruction works carried out by the Veolia Jur company, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan, accompanied by Deputy Minister Vardan Kostanyan, Chairman of the Water Committee Karen Sedrakyan, Director of the Veolia Jur company Marianna Shahinyan, governors and community leaders visited a number of settlements in the Kotayk, Aragatsotn and Armavir regions.
In particular, the Minister instructed to ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with the established schedule, strictly adhere to quality requirements, and restore the road sections damaged as a result of the installation of water supply networks as soon as possible.
