Perpetuating memory of outstanding representatives of peoples of  Armenia and Kazakhstan discussed in Astana

ArmInfo.  On August 5, the Ambassador of Armenia to Kazakhstan Armen Gevondyan met with the Akim (Mayor) of Astana Zhenis Kasymbek. This was reported by the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, the report notes, the issues of developing  cooperation between Yerevan and Astana in the trade, economic,  humanitarian and cultural spheres were discussed within the framework  of the twinning agreement adopted in 2024.

Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the agreements  reached at a high level on perpetuating the memory of outstanding  representatives of the peoples of Armenia and Kazakhstan. Issues  aimed at modernizing the conditions of the activities of the Armenian  Embassy in Astana, taking into account the prospects for the  development of Armenian-Kazakh interstate relations, were also  discussed.
