The Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia reports that over 1 billion drams were recovered in completed criminal cases in the first half of 2025, compared to about 655 million drams in the same period of 2014. This data summarizes the results of the Committee for the first 6 months of the current year.
Specifically, during the reporting period, the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia reviewed 1,653 criminal cases, an increase from the 1,585 in the previous year. Out of these cases, 367 were completed, with only 101 being sent to court with an indictment against 255 persons, while 266 were dismissed. Additionally, there are 24 completed criminal cases that had been at the preliminary investigation stage for two to six years. Alongside the criminal cases, the Committee investigators also reviewed and examined 2,677 applications according to the prescribed procedures.
In the same timeframe, 1,096,236,339 drams were collected as a result of completed criminal proceedings, compared to 654,115,746 drams a year earlier. Furthermore, 398,307,300 drams were collected as compensation for property damage caused by unfinished criminal proceedings, up from 226,714,749 drams in the previous year. Overall, 1 billion 494 million 543, 639 drams were collected as compensation for property damage caused by both unfinished and completed criminal proceedings, and 158,820,650 drams were collected as compensation for property damage. To compensate for the damage caused, property worth 455,534,243 drams was seized.
