It was reported the day before that former member of the Armenian parliament, former candidate for the post of mayor of Gyumri, member of the City Council of Elders Sarik Minasyan was appointed director of the Kars branch of the Electric Networks of Armenia company.
Earlier, the media reported that the temporary manager of ENA Romanos Petrosyan was getting rid of the staff of the company's owner Samvel Karapetyan, mainly dismissing the heads of the branches.
Recall that since 2016, Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC has belonged to the Tashir group of companies, founded by Russian-Armenian businessman Samvel Karapetyan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced his intention to nationalize ENA after Samvel Karapetyan expressed public support for the AAC. Then the Armenian parliament adopted a package of legislative amendments aimed at nationalizing the ENA company, which belongs to the Tashir Group of Companies, and on July 18, by decision of the head of the Public Services Regulatory Commission, Romanos Petrosyan was appointed as the temporary manager of Elseti within the framework of administrative proceedings and the application of preventive measures against ENA.
