ArmInfo. The Investigative Committee of Armenia has returned the phone to Gegham Manukyan, a member of the Armenian parliament from the opposition faction "Armenia". It was illegally seized during searches in the deputy's house in early July this year. His son Taron Manukyan was also detained at the same time.
"As a result of the unconstitutional, shameful actions of the investigative bodies of Armenia, when they forcibly stole my personal mobile phone from my apartment, I was able to use social networks only after 21 days. Yesterday evening, without a single explanation, apology or clarification, the investigator of the Investigative Committee of Armenia returned the phone to me without saying a word," Manukyan noted.
He also promised to make public in the near future what illegal actions law enforcement officers committed with the data on his phone during these days.
The MP also recalled that the Prosecutor General has shown complete indifference, silently ignoring his two statements of crimes sent to him in connection with this incident.
