ArmInfo. The head of the Tashir Group of Companies, businessman Samvel Karapetyan, made a new message from the NSS dungeons, in which he presented the failures of the current government in Armenia and spoke about the plans of the political force he is creating.
In Samvel Karapetyan's letter, which was published on the Facebook page of the businessman's nephew, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC Narek Karapetyan, it is noted that, first of all, the authorities failed to suppress the will of the Armenian people. In particular, as Karapetyan emphasized, they failed to discourage the Armenian youth.
"Having gone through wars, persecution by the authorities, hardships and uncertainty, they remained strong and talented, thinking about the future of our Armenia and living with this idea," the businessman emphasized.
Karapetyan also pointed out that the ruling regime failed to silence journalists and suppress freedom of speech. "The chain of information terror, lies and manipulations is broken. Thanks to real journalists who selflessly do their job, reality becomes accessible to our society," he continued.
In addition, as the businessman emphasized, the authorities were unable to break the spirit of their compatriots in the Baku prison. "These people, heroically fighting for decades, deserve exceptional respect. Having found themselves hostages, they survive death. Despite this, they will always hold their honor and the honor of all of us high, worthy of a real Armenian man," Karapetyan emphasized.
He also recalled that the authorities failed to undermine the faith of the Armenian people in the mission of the Holy Armenian Apostolic Church (AAC). As Karapetyan noted, the more the clergy are persecuted, the more Armenians seek their blessing, and the more the Church is attacked, the more Armenians unite around the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
According to Karapetyan, the future of the country lies in these failures of the "small working group" in power. "Our fundamentally new political force, our new emerging team will be based on our best national qualities, people with the strong will of the people, and especially on the youth. We will open a new, long- awaited and desired page in our history - in our own way," Karapetyan concluded.
Samvel Karapetyan was detained on the night of June 18 in Yerevan by Armenian law enforcement agencies after he expressed support for the Armenian Apostolic Church. This was followed by open threats from the Prime Minister. On the night of June 19, the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction arrested the president of the Tashir Group of Companies, Samvel Karapetyan, for two months. He is accused of publicly calling for the seizure of power in the country. Karapetyan does not admit guilt.
