ArmInfo. The multinational military exercises Agile Spirit 2025 have started in Georgia. Armenia is participating in them as an observer.
As reported by Ekho Kavkaza, their opening took place at the NATO-Georgia Joint Training and Evaluation Center in Krtsanisi on July 25. The Agile Spirit 2025 exercises are being held in two countries in the region - Georgia and Turkey, which, according to the Georgian side, helps strengthen regional cooperation.
Representatives of the Georgian Armed Forces, military attaches accredited in Georgia, representatives of NATO, the US Embassy and the European Union Monitoring Mission took part in the opening ceremony of the exercises. Defense Minister Irakli Chikovani was not present at the event.
Military personnel from Georgia, the USA, Turkey, Poland, Germany, Italy, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Lithuania and Ukraine are participating in the exercises. Representatives of Armenia and Japan have been declared as observers.
