RA government  to allocate necessary financial resources  to prepare  Armenian athletes for   2028 Olympic Games 

ArmInfo. To prepare Armenian athletes, as well as their coaches, doctors and massage therapists for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, the RA government will  allocate the required financial resources.

The project justification notes that athletes and their support team  will receive extra allowances. A similar approach was used during the  preparation for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, where Armenian  athletes won 4 medals, including 3 silver and 1 bronze.

The Olympic Games are the most important test in the world of sports.   To adequately prepare for the 2028 Summer Olympic Games in Los  Angeles, it is necessary, based on the project outcomes, to ensure  the provision of sports benefits from January 2026 until the  conclusion of the 2028 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles in August  2028. These benefits will be provided to athletes, coaches of  national teams, personal trainers, doctors and massage therapists.  The project outlines the process for providing sports benefits and  the conditions for their provision. It will come into effect on  January 1, 2026, with a  total budget of 406,800.0 (four hundred six  million eight hundred thousand) drams for one year.
