Optimistic statements by Turkiye and Azerbaijan on `Zangezur  corridor` speak much of upcoming deal

ArmInfo.  The optimistic statements of Turkey and Azerbaijan on the so-called "Zangezur  corridor" and the published leaks already say a lot about the  upcoming deal. This was written on his Facebook page by the deputy of  the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia from the opposition  faction "I have the honor" Tigran Abrahamyan.

According to him, the topic of the so-called "Zangezur corridor" is  not only being worked out by Azerbaijan and Turkey at the level of  statements, but maps are also being published that show that it will  pass through the south, along the Iranian border road, affecting the  cities of Meghri and Agarak.

"Regardless of what the parties call it - a corridor or a crossroads,  much depends on legal norms.  Currently, negotiations are underway to  transfer logistics issues to a private company, but from this point  of view, it is also important to understand whose ears are visible  behind this organization, or, more simply, who and how will control  it? It seems that the optimistic statements of Turkey and Azerbaijan  on such a corridor and the published leaks already say a lot about  the upcoming deal," the deputy noted.

The media talks a lot about the agreement reached between Yerevan,  Baku and Ankara on the creation of the so-called "Zangezur corridor."  According to publications, control over the movement of goods along  this corridor is planned to be transferred to one of the American  companies.
