Saakashvili: Pashinyan has officially taken a course on EU membership

ArmInfo. "After the unsuccessful war, Pashinyan did in Armenia what I did not do in 2011-2012: he arrested Armenian Ivanishvili (Bidzina Ivanishvili, founder of the ruling Georgian Dream party - ed.), billionaire Karapetyan (referring  to Samvel Karapetyan). Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili  noted this in his Facebook post, adding that Pashinyan has officially  taken a course on EU membership. 

Saakashvili added that what is happening in the South Caucasus is a  direct consequence of Russia's weakening in Ukraine. "Baku has begun  to cooperate with NATO, Azerbaijan sees Russia as a direct threat and  is taking active steps to cleanse its political, economic and  cultural space from Russian influence. In addition, Azerbaijan and  Armenia have started to get closer, which is a heavy blow for  Russia," the former Georgian president wrote.

 In this situation, according to him, Georgia is in a complete  anomaly. On  one hand, "the society has started to hate Ivanishvili  and his herd, and the violence, shamelessness, and injustice of this  gang rightly convince Georgians that international isolation is  disastrous for them." "In this situation, we all understand that it  can't continue like this, and "something will happen". However, we  have to understand that this "something" can not happen by itself.  The active part of society should take the initiative and stop going  in circles. Geopolitical processes are helping us a lot, but we also  have no time to waste. In the absence of leaders, self-organization  is the only viable solution," Saakashvili noted.
