ArmInfo. The RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reponded to the to allegations about the possible use of Armenian territory for military purposes.
"In response to certain fabricated reports circulating in media, the Republic of Armenia reaffirms its principled position that the territory of the Republic of Armenia cannot be used by third countries to carry out military actions against any of the neighboring states," Ani Badalyan, Spokesperson for the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wrote on social media.
Earlier, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine made a statement that the Russian Federation is allegedly expanding its military presence in Armenia against the backdrop of worsening relations with Azerbaijan. In particular, that the Kremlin allegedly accelerated the staffing of its base in Gyumri with the aim of destabilizing the situation in the South Caucasus.
