ArmInfo. The occupation Azerbaijani regime is holding the 17th summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) in the de-Armenianized city of Stepanakert.
According to Azerbaijani media, the summit is attended by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, Northern Cyprus leader Ersin Tatar, Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and representatives from several other states.
During his address at the summit, Aliyev once again boasted about the occupation of Artsakh and put forth additional demands on Armenia, including the illegal demand to repopulate the Republic of Armenia with Azerbaijanis. Independent experts are inclined to believe that the visit to the occupied Stepanakert, including by states friendly to Armenia, like Iran and Turkmenistan, indicates that the foreign policy of the current Armenian authorities has failed.
