ArmInfo. Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Alen Simonyan once again addressed the issue of stopping the broadcasting of Russian TV channels in Armenia.
On his Telegram channel, he noted that there is no need to invent culprits, it is enough to simply turn on the TV. "Reading the reaction of my Russian colleagues to my statement that it is time to seriously discuss the issue of stopping the broadcasting of Russian TV channels in Armenia, I involuntarily ask myself: does none of these respected people ask themselves: why? This must be stopped. Either you stop doing this, or we will do it," wrote Alen Simonyan.
The day before, in a conversation with journalists, the speaker spoke in favor of stopping the broadcasting of Russian TV channels in Armenia. He called those Russian journalists who are whipping up the atmosphere and negatively affecting Armenian-Russian relations "degenerates". The speaker stated that it is time to seriously discuss the issue of stopping the broadcasting of Russian TV channels in the Armenian multiplex.
"The programs of these mankurts have long been closed in our country, their entry into the country too. However, if their state channels allow themselves to interfere in the internal affairs of Armenia, maybe we should also close their access to the apartments of our citizens," Simonyan stated.
