Andranik Simonyan appointed head of National Security Service of  Armenia

ArmInfo.  Andranik Simonyan has been appointed director of the National Security Service of Armenia. The decision on the appointment was signed on June 28 by RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

The official decision states: "Guided by Article 9, Part 5 of the Law  on Public Service and Article 4.1, Part 2 of the Law on National  Security Bodies, Andranik Simonyan is appointed as Director of the  National Security Service." In a separate decree, Prime Minister  Pashinyan relieved Andranik Simonyan of his previous duties as Deputy  Director of the NSS.
