The Supreme Body of the ARF of Armenia reported that searches are being conducted in the apartments of Igor Sargsyan, a member of the Supreme Body of the ARF, Vardan Avagyan, a member of the Abovyan Committee of the ARF, Artashes Hunanyan, a member of the Hrazdan Committee, and Varazdat Amiraghyan, a member of the Noyemberyan Committee, and in the house of Artur Sargsyan, a member of the Armenian parliament from the Armenia faction.
Lawyer Roma Yeritsyan reported that David Galstyan, a member of the Justice faction of the Artsakh National Assembly, and several other residents of Artsakh who supported the Sacred Struggle have been detained. According to him, they have been transferred to the Investigative Department of the Ajapnyak and Davtashen Administrative Districts of Yerevan, better known as the Investigative Department of the National Security Service. Yeritsyan added that the process of taking them into custody is underway.
Earlier, the Investigative Committee of Armenia stated that the detentions and searches are being conducted in connection with an attempt to carry out a coup d'etat in the country.
