ArmInfo. The Council for the Protection of the Rights of the People of Artsakh announces a new rally in the center of Yerevan. It will take place on July 12 at Freedom Square.
The statement issued by the Council for the Protection of the Rights of the People of Artsakh emphasizes that the people of Artsakh are determined and ready to fight, and this determination is a clear signal.
The Council then announces a mass rally. "The new stage of our struggle begins on July 12 at 18:00 from the symbolic Freedom Square. From there, we will march to the relevant government agencies, where mass civil disobedience will take place.
We are firm in our promises and will not deviate from the chosen path. Details of our actions will be communicated both during interviews and directly on the spot - in a direct communication format. Our goal is to ensure united, organized and effective cooperation for the sake of a common goal," the statement continues.
The Council then called on the Armenian Apostolic Church, the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia, all Diaspora organizations, public and political forces of Artsakh and Armenia, the authorities of Artsakh and the entire Armenian people to unite around the idea of Artsakh and make the Artsakh issue a pan-Armenian agenda.
"Those who support our agenda should be with us. Remember - in 1988, the awakening of Artsakh began with a popular uprising - with the same spirit, with the same idea, with the same determination. Today, this spirit is alive again. Together - for the sake of Artsakh, for the sake of our rights, for the sake of the Armenian people," the statement says.
