Armenian MP`s spokesperson refutes Russian media reports 

ArmInfo.  Anna Mkrtchyan, press secretary of the deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia from the ruling faction "Civil Contract", Khachatur  Sukiasyan, denied the reports of the Russian media about the theft of  diamonds from the company "ALROSA" and their delivery to a company  associated with the deputy.

"Today, the Russian press spread disinformation that a group that  stole diamonds from ALROSA and allegedly supplied them to the company  of the RA NA deputy Khachatur Sukiasyan has been arrested in Russia.  I would like to inform you that this is another piece of fake news,  it has nothing to do with reality and is completely fabricated. This  is a continuation of the previous disinformation that Khachatur  Sukiasyan is allegedly going to buy Electric Networks of Armenia for  subsequent resale to the Turks. The scenario is the same, and I think  that there will be more such news. One could say that an information  war has been declared. I repeat once again, this news is  disinformation," Anna Mkrtchyan noted.

The official representative of the Investigative Committee of Russia  Svetlana Petrenko told RIA Novosti that security forces detained a  gang of thieves who stole diamonds from ALROSA for smuggling to  Armenia, among those detained is a company employee. During the  visit, about 200 thousand carats of rough diamonds, money and jewelry  were seized. As the agency reported,

The organizers of the illegal activity are two Armenian citizens who  are wanted internationally for smuggling rough diamonds.
