ArmInfo. Russian businessman of Armenian origin, head of the Tashir group of companies Samvel Karapetyan distributed the third letter through his legal team from the Armavir penal institution (PIU).
In the letter under the title "What have the current authorities managed to do?", the businessman stated that the current authorities have managed to achieve the complete destruction of the state's external security.
"They managed to completely ruin relations with the main ally and destroy ties with all military partners, instilling in the people illusions about "crossroads" and dreams of peace. As a result, several "axes" hang over our country: Turkey, Azerbaijan, even Pakistan.
We lost Artsakh - Armenian Artsakh, which has a unique thousand-year historical value, which was preserved at the cost of blood. After that, under the cheap and false promises of a peace treaty, the gradual surrender of the territories of the Republic of Armenia began. They destroyed the armed forces. After all these surrenders and destruction, the only means of protecting the country's borders were binoculars in the hands of several incomprehensible people," he noted.
According to Karapetyan, under false promises that a peace treaty would soon be signed, the current government rushed with humiliating haste to chase the leaders of neighboring countries, devaluing the centuries-old right of the Armenian to live with dignity. "Soon the external security of our country will be restored, and dignity will be returned. We will fight!", - his message says.
In another letter, Karapetyan promised to create a group of advocates to help citizens who are held in Armenian prisons for political reasons.
Samvel Karapetyan was detained on the night of June 18 in Yerevan by Armenian law enforcement agencies after he expressed support for the Armenian Apostolic Church. In response, this was followed by open threats from the Prime Minister. On the night of June 19, the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction arrested the president of the Tashir Group of Companies Samvel Karapetyan for two months. He is accused of publicly calling for the seizure of power in the country. Karapetyan does not admit guilt. His defense has already filed an appeal against this verdict to a higher court.
