Armenian government to sponsor transportation of humanitarian cargo  to Syria 

ArmInfo. The Armenian government will compensate transportation costs in the amount of 5.280 million drams for the transportation of humanitarian cargo to  Syria. The decision on this was made at a meeting of the Cabinet of  Ministers of the Republic.

As noted in the justification of the draft resolution, the funds will  be allocated by redistributing the financial resources provided by  the country's state budget for the current year. On April 23, 2025,  by the decision of the government, the Ministry of Internal Affairs  of the Republic of Armenia was instructed to deliver humanitarian aid  - food and medicine - to support people who found themselves in a  difficult socio- economic situation as a result of the events taking  place in Syria.

However, during the submission of the above-mentioned draft  resolution, not a single financial request related to the  transportation was submitted, since there was no information on  prices. For this reason, within the framework of the Project, it is  proposed to allocate 5.280 million drams for organizing the  transportation of the cargo.
