Golden Apricot  announces the name of its first guest of honor

ArmInfo. The President of the International Competition Jury of the 22nd  Golden Apricot  International film festival  will be Abderrahmane Sissako, the Mauritanian master and award-winning filmmaker laurate of  Cannes Film Festival, Cesar and many more.  ArmInfo was informed about this  by the press service of the film festival.

It is noteworthy that for the first time in its history, Golden  Apricot will honor an African filmmaker.  "Sissako is  one of the  most sensitive  and profound voices in world cinema, known for his  deep humanism, compassion, pursuit of justice and advocacy for  tolerance," the source says.
