Ararat Mirzoyan: It is regrettable to note that tension between Iran  and Israel  is escalating

ArmInfo. It is regrettable to note that the Iranian-Israeli confrontation is escalating, as stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, during the government session in the National Assembly on June 18.

According to him, Armenia's stance on this issue is well known. As a  conductor of peace in the region, Armenia strives for peace in other  regions of the globe as well. "But we see that this is not always  possible to achieve. In these conditions, we want to make our  contribution to solving the humanitarian problems of citizens who  have found themselves in the territory of Iran and Israel. In a word,  we are actively involved, as evidenced by India's request for the  transshipment of Indian students, and some African countries, such as  Zimbabwe, have made a similar request. Citizens of France, China, and  other countries use Armenia as a transit point. If we assess the  situation from a pragmatic point of view, these volumes will increase  in the near future," Ararat Mirzoyan noted.
