Karapetyan`s press service issues a statement regarding the businessman`s prosecution 

ArmInfo. The press service of Samvel Karapetyan, the head of the Tashir Group of Companies, has issued a statement regarding the prosecution of the businessman.

The statement emphasizes that the charges brought against him are a  clear attempt to exert pressure.  "Samvel Karapetyan has always  spoken, and continues to speak, in defense of the interests of the  Armenian people, the Armenian Apostolic Church, and national values.  His words and actions are aimed exclusively at  peacefully protecting  the rights of citizens and freedom of religion," the statement reads.
