Argishti Mekhakyan to lead Civil Contract election list in  snap  elections in Vagharshapat

ArmInfo.  Argishti Mekhakyan, currently serving as the governor of Armavir region, will lead the Civil Contract election list in the upcoming snap elections in  Vagharshapat.  This information was shared with journalists by  Armenia's Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure,  David Khudatyan.

Particularly, the minister said that the snap elections are scheduled  to take place at the end of 2025, running concurrently  with the  community consolidation process.

When asked by journalists about concerns regarding Civil Contract's  ability to garner enough votes in Vagharshapat, similar to what it  achieved in Gyumri and Parakar, Khudatyan assured that there were no  such worries. "These elections are just around the corner, and time  will prove that we have no reason to worry. The election results will  prove this," the head of the Ministry of Territorial Administration  emphasized.
