ArmInfo. Moscow supports peace in the South Caucasus and is ready to help normalize relations between Baku and Yerevan. As Interfax reports, Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mikhail Evdokimov said this in an interview with the BakuTV channel.
Noting that Russia attaches importance to peace in the South Caucasus, the diplomat noted that this peace has now been restored, including thanks to the relations between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to him, Moscow welcomes the agreement reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia on the text of the peace treaty and is interested in continuing the normalization process between the countries.
Evdokimov also stressed that Russia is ready to make all necessary efforts to develop transport routes between Azerbaijan and Armenia, to continue the delimitation of the border between them
