Explosion in Armenia`s Chambarak: one killed, several injured 

ArmInfo. A fire broke out in an apartment on Garegin Nzhdeh Street in the city of Chambarak on June 11.

As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs  (MIA) of Armenia, according to preliminary data, a gas explosion  occurred in the apartment, as a result of which there are casualties  and one fatality.

In connection with the incident, two combat crews from the fire and  rescue squad of the regional rescue department of the Rescue Service  of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and two rescue groups of the  Center for the Implementation of Special Purpose Rescue Operations of  the Rescue Forces Department with dog handlers left for the scene.

The victims were taken to a local medical center. As reported by the  press service of the Ministry of Health of Armenia, 9 victims are  currently hospitalized, receiving the necessary medical care and are  undergoing examination.
