ArmInfo. The so-called "Lavrov Plan", that is being discussed by many, simply did not actually exist. The third President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan told journalists about this on June 10th. According to him, initiatives, as a rule, came from the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, who presented a unified stance on various proposals for resolving the Artsakh issue. By "Lavrov's Plan", the former president clarified, a modified version of the Kazan document needs to be considered, which, in turn, was based on the Madrid principles.
Serzh Sargsyan once again urged RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to publicize the most recent co- chairs' document from 2019. "Let him make it public, after which we will express our opinion," the former president said, dismissing Pashinyan's claims that discussions over the years focused solely on the surrender of Nagorno-Karabakh. Serzh Sargsyan challenged him to provide at least one fact of such intentions.
