Implementation of Strategy 2025-2027 for Combating Illegal  Trafficking in Drugs and Psychotropic Substances  to  necessitate 275  million drams  

ArmInfo.The Government of Armenia approved the Strategy for Combating Illegal Trafficking in Narcotic  Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, along with the corresponding Action Plan for 2025-2027, during its regular meeting on June 5. 

The project includes three strategic goals: preventing the  non-medical use of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances;  combating the illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic  substances, their precursors, preparations, equivalent substances  (analogues) and derivatives; and providing evidence-based, ethical,  gender-sensitive medical care, social and psychological support,  rehabilitation and reintegration of individuals using narcotic drugs  or psychotropic substances, as well as protecting public health.

The adoption of the bill will require a budget allocation of 275  million drams.
