Ex-official of State Revenue Committee could lose property, money  under law 

ArmInfo. The Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia demands confiscation of real estate and funds from former official of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) Haykaz Mkrtchyan.

As reported by the supervisory body, the Anti-Corruption Court has  accepted another claim of the Prosecutor General's Office on  confiscation of property of illegal origin from former deputy head of  the Department of Complex Tax Inspection of the SRC Haykaz Yurikovich  Mkrtchyan and persons associated with him in favor of the Republic of  Armenia: 2 units of real estate located in Yerevan, 1 movable  property, 1 right to participate in a legal entity, 1 right to  purchase.

38 million 118 thousand drams as the remainder of illegal income and  funds, 5 million 255 thousand drams that are not justified by the  legal income of the person, are of illegal origin, were transferred  to a bona fide purchaser during 2004-2023 or cannot be identified and  confiscated, based on the legal regulation of Part 4 of Article 20 of  the RA Law are also  subject to confiscation.
