ArmInfo. On May 21, within the framework of the Yerevan Dialogue 2025 Forum launched in Yerevan, the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Sargis Khandanyan met with the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Senate of Poland Grzegorz Schetyna.
Welcoming the guest in Yerevan, Sargis Khandanyan noted that the Forum is an effective platform to discuss numerous issues referred to confronting current challenges. He highlighted the development of the Armenian-Polish inter-parliamentary relations, the deepening of interaction on international platforms. The Committee Chair underscored the priority of activating the mutual visits of the parliamentary friendship groups of the two countries.
Thanking Sargis Khandanyan for warm reception, Grzegorz Schetyna reaffirmed the readiness of Poland in expanding the cooperation in all directions.
The sides exchanged ideas on the current issues of the Armenian-Polish inter-parliamentary cooperation agenda.
Special attention was attached to the RA-EU cooperation and the visa liberalisation process with the EU.
Reference was made to the issues of establishing stability and lasting peace in the region.
