Armenian authorities` position facilitates Azerbaijan`s programme to  capture Armenia - Arman Tatoyan 

ArmInfo.  The timid, passive position of the RA authorities, relying on the mercy of Azerbaijan and Turkey, only contributes to the development of the program to  seize Armenia and the internationalization of Azerbaijani  falsifications. This is written by the former Human Rights Defender  of the Republic of Armenia, Director of the Tatoyan Foundation Arman  Tatoyan, commenting on the holding of an international conference in  Turkey and the demands voiced at it. 

As Tatoyan emphasized, Azerbaijan brought its program to seize  Armenia to international platforms, forming an agenda literally out  of thin air. "Even the name Armenia is no longer used on many  platforms, it has been replaced by "Western Azerbaijan", - the former  Ombudsman notes.

He stressed that both Ankara and Baku are waiting for specific  deadlines from the Prime Minister of Armenia on the so-called issue  of the return of Azerbaijanis, presenting this demand as an  established reality. "They are making territorial claims to Syunik,  calling it "Western Zangezur". The demands they are making are to  change the Constitution, renounce the Declaration of Independence,  recognize the Armenian Genocide and resolve the problems of Artsakh.  In essence, this is a program for the occupation of Armenia, which  the Azerbaijani authorities are promoting with all their might.  Meanwhile, the fearful, passive position of the Armenian authorities,  relying on the mercy of the Azerbaijani and Turkish authorities, only  contributes to the development of this program and the  internationalization of Azerbaijani falsifications," Armen Tatoyan  noted.

In turn, the deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of  Armenia from the opposition faction "I have the honor" Tigran  Abrahamyan recalled that these days in Turkey there is a fairly  representative international conference on the topic "Return to  Western Azerbaijan as an important condition for the supremacy of  human rights", within the framework of which numerous speeches were  made directed against the territorial integrity of Armenia. "In his  speech, the President of Azerbaijan especially noted that "ensuring  the safe, dignified and peaceful return of Western Azerbaijanis to  their ancestral lands is an important condition for the protection of  human rights and peace in the region." Moreover, Aliyev noted that  Armenia should clearly express its position on when and under what  conditions Western Azerbaijanis will be able to return to their  ancestral lands. According to the latter, Baku expects Yerevan to  receive representatives of the community to discuss this issue.  Territorial claims against Armenia were openly expressed in speeches  in Turkey, and talks about Syunik were conducted as if its solution  was a matter of time.
