ArmInfo. CIS states will use electronic copies of documents in interstate searches. The NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security issued a positive conclusion on the protocol to the agreement on interstate search of persons of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States, submitted by the RA government at its meeting on May 20.
During the presentation of the document, RA Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Armen Ghazaryan noted that the protocol was signed on October 8, 2024, and the agreement itself on December 10, 2010. Currently, as the speaker emphasized, searches in the CIS member states are carried out entirely in paper form. Upon ratification of the protocol, documents on searches will be transferred to the other party electronically.
