ArmInfo. A memorandum was signed with the Agarak Copper and Molybdenum Combine on the transfer of a 15th-16th century church located near the combine to another location. Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia Alfred Kocharyan announced this at a plenary session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
According to him, the process of transferring the church is due to the need to save the cultural and historical site from further destruction. The church, as the Deputy Minister noted, will be dismantled and transferred to another location. The Scientific and Methodological Council under the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports has already issued the relevant permit, now it is the turn of the RA government.
