ArmInfo. Citizens of Armenia were not inspired by the initiative to impeach the current Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan. This is evidenced by the results of a poll conducted by the consulting company MPG "Politring". When asked to express their attitude towards this initiative, 30% of respondents said they were extremely negative about it, another 14.2% - "rather negative", 21% - "positive", 37% "rather positive", and another 17.9% found it difficult to answer.
When asked about the most effective way to remove Pashinyan from power, 36.4% said holding early elections, 29.8% said Pashinyan's resignation, 10.1% mentioned through street protests, 5% suggested impeachment, 16.9% believed Pashinyan should stay, 3.1% had a different answer, and 7.6% found it difficult to answer.
When asked who they would vote for if elections were held next Sunday, 11.5% of respondents chose the ruling "Civil Contract" party of Nikol Pashinyan, 8% favored the "Armenia" bloc of Robert Kocharyan, 3.7% supported the "I Have Honor" bloc of Serzh Sargsyan, 3.2% leaned towards the "Prosperous Armenia" party of Gagik Tsarukyan, 2.9% preferred the DOC party of blogger Vardan Ghukasyan, 2.2% supported the ARF Dashnaktsutyun, 23.7% said they would not participate in the elections, 18.5% found it difficult to answer, 6.4% refused to answer, 4.5% planned to spoil the ballot, 5.5% were against all options, 3.1% had other preferences, and a group of parties secured the support of less than 2%. According to MPG head sociologist Aram Navasardyan, Pashinyan's party slightly decreased in the rating, while Kocharyan's party saw an increase. However, according to the sociologist, the true picture will become clear 2-3 months prior to the elections.
It should be noted that the survey was conducted through telephone calls to residents of the Republic of Armenia from April 29 to May 2 of this year, the sample size was 1100, with a sampling error of +/- 3%.
