ArmInfo. The opposition faction "I have the honor" of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia is ready to support the civil initiative to pass a vote of no confidence in the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan. This is stated in the response message of the faction deputies to the letter of the civil movement "We are not sleeping".
In the response message, which was posted on his Facebook page by the head of the faction "I have the honor" Hayk Mamijanyan, in particular, it is noted that at present the most appropriate way to remove the Prime Minister and the Civil Contract party he leads from power is to put the issue of impeachment on the agenda of the National Assembly. At the same time, the response points out that, according to the current situation, the faction does not have an alternative candidate for the post of Prime Minister. Nevertheless, a group of opposition parliamentarians is ready to discuss this candidacy without any preconditions and begin the process of passing a vote of no confidence.
Earlier the initiators of the civil movement "We are not sleeping" Edgar Ghazaryan and Narek Malyan sent a letter to the members of parliament with a request to start the impeachment process against Pashinyan. However, to start this process, signatures of 36 deputies are needed, and the opposition lacks two votes that they want to get in the ruling faction, which looks very doubtful.
